Meet Amanda Hirdler

A few things you should know about me.

• I love Jesus and am a huge Bible nerd.
• I’m a former adulteress, witch, druggie, and generally wayward soul who got radically saved and forever changed.
• I will absolutely make irreverent jokes and laugh in the middle of serious conversations.

I’ve made a mess of things, had to face things about myself I didn’t want to see, and watched God work in parts of my life I thought were beyond repair. When I speak at events or share on my podcast, I’ll be real about where I keep getting life wrong. What I’m wrestling with. And what God is teaching me that I would have preferred to learn in a much more comfortable way. Because if I’m going through it, someone else is too. And the only way to move through it is to get it out in the open and figure out what God has to say about it. One of my favorite things is teaching Scripture in a way that makes it click for regular people. But I’ll die on this hill: knowing the Bible doesn’t stop at reading. We have to DO something with it and let it change us.
